Leawood Homes Association
Hello and welcome. Your homes association board of directors has prepared some basic information to explain what a homes association is, what resident services we provide, and additional information about those services.
What is the Leawood Homes Association?
Leawood Home Association (LHA) was created in 1938 by Kroh Brothers, the developers of approximately 1,500 homes roughly bounded by 95th Street on the south, Somerset Drive on the north, State Line on the east and Mission Road on the west.
The LHA is governed by a volunteer board of directors who are association residents and are elected to two-year terms at our annual meeting, which is held each November. The board meets quarterly during the year.
LHA provides four main services to its residents...
We contract with providers to provide trash removal services, including household trash, recycling and yard waste.
Street Tree Maintenance
We contract for tree services to maintain the street trees that line our streets.
Architectural Review Committee
Our Architectural Review Committee provides guidance and review to ensure compliance to HOA Construction guidelines for all building projects within the HOA boundaries.
