Architectural Review Committee Volunteers Needed

The Leawood Homes Association is looking for qualified residents who are interested in serving on the Architectural Review Committee (ARC).

The ARC plays an important role in helping maintain the character and appearance of our neighborhood by reviewing exterior improvements, additions, renovations, and other projects submitted by homeowners. Committee members review architectural plans and help ensure proposed projects are consistent with the Association’s established design guidelines.

Because of the technical nature of this work, we’re looking for residents with professional experience in areas such as architecture, engineering, construction, design, or other related fields. Members should be comfortable reviewing plans, understanding design requirements, and applying those guidelines thoughtfully and consistently.

Serving on the ARC is a great way to use your professional experience to give back to the community while helping preserve the qualities that make Leawood such a desirable place to live.

Applicants must reside within the Leawood Homes Association boundaries and be in good standing.
