Citywide Recirculation Day

Leawood residents are invited to participate in Citywide Recirculation Saturday on Sept. 20, 2025!

This community-driven event is a chance to give your unwanted items new life by placing them at the end of your driveway for others to pick up and reuse.

Event Details:

• Start Time: Homeowners may set out items beginning at 7 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 20.

• Recirculation Only: There will be no pickup by the city—this is strictly a neighbor-to-neighbor event.

• Eligible Items: Only items placed at the driveway's edge are available for recirculation. Do not take items from the middle or upper section of the driveway. If in doubt, ask the homeowner.

• Cleanup: Items not recirculated must be removed from the driveway by Monday morning.

• Disclaimer: The City of Leawood is not responsible for lost, misplaced, or stolen items.

Declutter, share, and give back to your neighbors—because one person’s “unwanted” could be another’s “new favorite." No need to RSVP- just put out your items and “shop” away!
